As a young girl, I always knew the power of my horses’ healing. I pondered life upon the back of my gallant stead many a day – leaving home early in the morning and riding across the plains of Colorado for the whole day – my mother knowing I would wander in sometime before dark. I’d tell my horse all my secrets and dreams and stories, and somehow I always found wisdom emanating from the soul of my horse.
Today, I find myself so lucky to share this great gift that horses give to us. I just completed an amazing weekend of self-exploration and growth for an amazing group of women – all with the guidance of the Syzygy herd of horses. These beautiful women explored their strengths, values and passions to define their essence, and dream their future. Our time was filled with self exploration, creating and walking a medicine wheel, and one-on-one round pen sessions, all with the support and participation of the horses.
